The Distilled Water Company are pleased to offer medical grade distilled water. The water comes packaged in food grade, non-tainting plastic containers which can be recycled after use.
Usage guidelines presented on our bottles of distilled water should always be observed and adhered too. It is also advised that these goods are stored away from all potential contaminants and chemicals in a cool, dark place.
Once distilled water is exposed to oxygen the oxidation process quickly affects the purity of the water, so we recommend that once opened it should be used immediately.
We ensure that our distilled water is of the highest quality by first demineralising it. To achieve this, we pass the fluid through an ion exchange resin bed, consequently removing any ions and minerals which may be present. Once this process is complete the demineralised water is then boiled and the steam later condensed to create distilled water.
20 litre distilled water is our most popular product and is used in many different ways. One of the most common of these uses is in the automotive industry where it is used in the cooling systems. The lack of ions and minerals in the water reduces corrosion on the internal engine components. It is also commonly used in steam irons as well as humidors and humidifiers for similar reasons.
